Hello, Social Media lovers! Today I, Lisa Starchak, would love to share with you some of the most important Instagram Trends of 2020 🌊 Please, fasten your seat belts, we are ready to fly! ⠀ 1. First things first, we are finally having Hidden Likes in Instagram💔 Hidden Likes = More Posting Not seeing likes -> less pressure -> more fun -> more posting ->more connection and authentic growth! Let’s be real. Good-bye vanity metrics, hello authenticity. ⠀ 2. Natural Feed + Natural Photos🌿 We are all tired of spending hours editing pictures and worrying that we aren’t perfect, aren’t we? So, let’s welcome new “not-edited” edited trend! It actually doesn’t mean NO editing…it’s more like “no make up” make up! It also includes more lifestyle and consumer created content for brands, and less “staged” for personal profiles. ⠀ 3. Long Captions 📑 When the entire Russian Instagram market is already exhausted of writing “long-reads” and trying to teach the audience be fine with European “Good morning folks!”…long captions becoming a trend. Words connect people, even in a big-big countries! ⠀ 4. New Hashtags 🖇 Look at the hashtags as on communities on Instagram! Good example is @soulsister_and_cojewellery brand which connects all SoulSisters under hashtag #SoulSister_lovers ! It can be used as a guide “how to wear my jewelry”, as a friendly online-base around the world and just a women’s club! ⠀ 5. The Rise of Text images 📜 Text images are becoming more and more popular! Start using quotes, infographics, or even handwritten notes in a notebook! ⠀ 6. The Rise of Carousels 🎞 One more option to tell a good story – telling it with photos and videos! ⠀ 7. TikTok invasion 📹 Instagram would launch almost all the functions from TikTok this year, but until it happens feel free to upload your TT videos to your feed! ⠀ 8. IGTV Series 🎥 IGTV abandoned their “vertical video” thesis by adding the ability to upload landscape video! And now Series – use it for your topics, as you use personalized hashtags for your feed! ⠀ 📎 EXTRA. Let’s face it now: Instagram Live is NO longer trending, and it’s likely not worth the extra effort and stress that comes with running a live broadcast, where anything can happen! In 2020, we would re-allocate your “live” resources towards investing in video content for your feed, stories, or IGTV instead. ⠀ Happy Insta-2020!👋🏻 #InstagramTrends2020
